Of course that needs to start with adults in their life given safety talks. Doesn’t matter who, could be a sex Ed class of their parents, but somebody needs to explain to them what sex is, how a period cycle works in relation to how people get pregnant, how birth control works, how to wear a condom, and finally some basics about STIs. You then need a place teens can search questions about it, and no, a doctor isn’t always the correct answer. The second you limit them to only being able to ask doctors you limit information to only kids whose parents are supportive and can afford to see a doctor. + doctors don’t know everything. Misinformation is common in doctors too.

The Internet has so much worse that kids will typically find searching this stuff (especially knowing how data collection and social media work, it's a very bad combination), it's much better to learn intimate things in a safe environment by the people who care for you. Plus, the doctor thing was only if someone felt they had a medical issue, they shouldn't be searching up online what could be wrong instead of seeing a licensed professional. My solution to these problems would be to help instruct parents on how to create a safer environment for their child in these conversations so that the parents can monitor the safety of their children in answering any further question. It's much better to let a parent search this information if they don't know than letting the child since parents can filter the harmful information. Letting kids freely explore this content online is what led them into a server like this, so why should that be the solution?

Teens are never going to ask their parents those questions. Pre internet kids learnt this stuff from older teen boys, or from the few same aged kids who had access to porn. It’s all well and good to encourage today’s parents to be approachable, but 1: you can encourage it as much as you want, but it’s still not a solution to this current issue Because the truth is this would take decades to be effective. 2: kids still won’t ask. That’s not to mention that you need to teach kids to research it themselves. They can’t be 18 and learning how to google for the first time. But that’s really another topic. Obviously discord still isn’t a safe option. But the internet is still a solution. What you need is sites or books written by doctors answering all those common questions around sex in a factual way. Then you give those teens access to the site. And no, Mayo clinics isn’t good enough.

I know you have good intentions my man, but discord is the LAST place you want that kind of server. Allow me to tell a story that hopefully serves as a lesson. As a grown man that grew up with discord as a young minor, I’ve come across way too many creepy older men. I was in a group when I was about 14-15, and a lot of us in the group were around 13-16. (We had some normal adults) The group was “supposedly” led by a guy we called Fred. We were originally a Danganronpa RP group, and that’s what we mostly did. This guy was about 19 at the time, and he developed a very strange relationship with a girl in the group that was 13 at the time. (According to him, he said “I’d make a better boyfriend than (14 yr old boy) to (13 yr old girl)”. So apparently this grown ass man thought he was in romantic competition with KIDS. He even had a friend (that was in our group btw) we called Al (Or Almazu) that was about 20-21 at the time, dating a 13 year old girl. Fred was always very quick to defend Al for dating a minor. At the time, I was young and didn’t have the gall to speak up. I didn’t realize how disgusting this whole situation was. I was invited into another group separate from that one by people in our group, calling out Fred and his friend for being pedos. Fred and Al did not like this, and weaponized everyone they could in the group against ANYONE in that group. I thought at the time maybe we were in the wrong for criticizing them, they tried manipulating us into thinking a 13 year old dating a 20 year old was normal. At some point I want to post this story with more detail to spread awareness. But for now, you get the gist. Oh yea, and one more thing. We should dig a hole, and tell pedophiles to jump in. I'm 19 now, but back when I was 13 i sadly got pulled into a server just like this and i can confirm it's just a terrible place for .pdfs to groom kids. i was in the server for longer than i realized at the time, but the thing making me bring it up is the fact some of the people im seeing in this video where also in that old server. it's a shame to see they continue their awful actions and aren't facing jail time, hopefully since you're making a video on it something more can happen to these freaks.
