My granddaughter and I were so excited to see a pattern for this doll! She has a Lil Cutsie and has wanted me to make her new clothes. Thank you!!!

I also have an easy-on-off pajama pattern in the works for Lil Cutesies. My niece has one she just adores, so expect a few more patterns for this doll. Thank you for the kind comment!

if you open out the bodice front and back you can sew the shoulder seam and refold the wrong sides together without having those raw edges - right ?

I created something like that with my 18 inch bikini top. If you'd like to see how that looks, try this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHiqlHmijdRlp9k Time stamp 2:13 is about right to start watching how I did that without raw edges, but it's a little different because it's sleeveless of course. Good luck to you, Dorothy!

It's actually kind of hard to find the 8" Li'l Cutesie dolls in an ethnic minority version, but this doll is one of those rare finds. She has a brownish tint to her skin. It may not photograph well, but in real life, it's a lovely doll with details like wrinkled "infant" skin around the toes and big, lovely eyes. Since designing this pattern for my friend's daughter's Li'l Cutesie doll, I've often thought about purchasing myself one of these dolls for future projects. It was a lot of fun to work with this doll.
