Nobody mentioned Lucy and Desi in 'The Long Long Trailer'. Their trailer was very similar to the old 42 footer. You youngins probably never heard of it but search for the movie during your next down time. I had to laugh when neither of you could tell the difference between an ice box and a refrigerator.

You can load the Copilot on a tablet and have a bigger screen. You know what a pain it is when you go to hook up your sewer hose to the sewer line in the ground and it is so recessed that after you screw th 4 way adapter in you can't connect the sewer hose. Because the sewer inlet is so far down in the tight little recess. I found a handy little extension while cruising the exhibits at the 6 State rally in Shreveport LA today. It is a short about 4" extension that raises the connection so it will clear. This is a Camco product "Camco 39735 Sewer Extension Clear 4 in 1."

If concerned about clearances and weight limits, the "Rand McNally PROFESSIONAL GPS" is aimed at truck drivers who must watch "Weight Limits" and "Vertical Clearances", these may be found at most major "TRUCK STOPS" such as Flying J, PILOT, Travel Centers of America (TA), they are pricey, but if set to "AUTO UPDATE" (Usually requires GOOD WiFi.). They also list fueling locations & amenities available AND offer "NO TOLL ROAD" or "MOST DIRECT" routing. :-D

Did you folks see the retrofit GMC there? We made a visit last year and enjoyed, but yes the video was a little lacking. The rig outside was a Travco! On another note, I have been using the Garmin 770 and their best one yet, in my opinion. Another great video! We use the builtin Tiffin GPS, which in our case, is labeled as Kenwood (I don't know if it's Garmin underneath or something). We're still new, but having compared to quite a few apps (although we've not tried co-pilot), it's still the winner. It is very good at giving warnings, often too much. We've gotten into trouble with other apps -- once in the NY City at area at rush hour, which was not fun.

The Rand McNally GPS I had designed for big trucks, once u set it up for a big truck, it would keep u away from bridges that were to low or couldn't handle the weight and it would keep u away from railroad tracks that were too high to go over at crossings. It worked great for keeping me away from problems like this. Now the only problem with any GPS and I know u know this, u still have to use that old gut instincts because I ran 2 in my big truck a Rand McNally and a Garmin and they both sent me down a dead in street once but that thought me a lesson lol, that didn't happen again. The first motorhome (RV) I owned was a 1968 Cortez. Everything ran on propane, including the engine. When I purchased it, it was gutted. The original owners was a band. They took everything out in order to store and travel with all their equipment. The couple that purchased it from the band tried to rebuild the interior but found it to be a bigger project then that had planned. I purchased it from the second owners and they had all the original appliances. Which had never been used. My ex husband, his parents and I spent one entire winter restoring the interior. I loved that RV. Last year I was passing through Elkhart, IN and stopped at the RV/Mortorhome Hall of Fame. I loved looking at all the different RVs. I was totally shocked to see an old Cortez RV there. I was even more surprised to see that we restored the layout of the interior much like the one that was in Elkhart. Ok, I understand why you have the clocks for the family time zones, but shouldn’t the minutes be the same? Am I missing something?

Jeffery Myers if one member is deployed to Afghanistan then no, there is a 30 minute difference between their time and the time zones in the US. There is another location that is that way as well if I remember correctly

chadarader2000 Well, I learned something new. I did not know there are such things as time zones broken down below hour increments. Thank you for the information.

It is making me crazy! No matter how many times we set them or change the batteries they cannot keep correct time. I guess that is what happens when you purchase cheap clocks! They are actually on their way out. I have plans to change them out in October for something else.
