Feedback time: Did it work on your PC?

On my PC is working. I use virtual machine on TIA Portal v16 and PLCSIM Advanced. I started Factory Simulator on my host OS and connect to PLC on VM. Before that, i tryed to start FactorySimulator on VM, connect to PLCSIM, and everthing looked OK. But when i open TIA Portal, the TIA Portal start to make problem like the first live streaming.

hello, nice work, Thank you so much when I try to run the simulation to connect to ( net to plcsim) I find this error, plc simulation cannot be started because no there is already an online connection to a device can you help me, please

I installed it on my VBox machine, under Win10 and managed to connect it to Simens-300 PLC but there is one strange issue. I can move around with WASD, but every move that includes mouse doesn't work (looking around). It makes the use of programm impossible. Has anyone encountered such problem? I have no idea what to do. (The mouse works fine in Main Menu, and other menu's).

Great video! I played around with Unity a couple of years ago and had a lot of fun working on a simple game. Using it with a PLC for simulating is a pretty cool idea.

Just found your channel, such a hidden gem! That's so fucking cool what you did I want to would love to do such projects at the future at my own.. Are there any companies who provide such simulation environments? Um currently taking an apprenticeship as an "electrician for automation" in munich and it would be such a great tool to learn programming at school, even more at the corona times at home. I don't think there are any competitors, if this project gets into a later state I think you could earn tons of money selling this software to schools and companies.

You should check out satisfactory (game) and one of their mods which allows you to use a basic programming language to make your own logics on the conveyor belts and factories. This might give you some more idea's for your factory simulator.

Da mein Tool zur Zeit die Verbindung über TCP/IP herstellt wäre das nur möglich wenn du der PROFIBUS/MPI CPU noch einen "industrial ethernet CM oder CP" anklemmst... wollte mich in erster Linie auf industrial ethernet fokussieren, da es der neue Standard ist und DP zu weitesten Teilen ersetzt

That should actually be possible, as it is using TCP/IP... I'll definitely investigate on that! It could work like this: TIA Portal runs on the PC, a real PLC/PLC-SIM is connected to the PC, Android phone is connected to the PC using WIFI... could get a little complicated, but nothing impossible!
