The day after Thanksgiving, my mother would get out the box of old Christmas cards. We would cut them into strips, one for each day until.Christmas. She would put them on another card and hang it in the living room closet door. We would take turns. Every morning one of us kids would tear off the ring for that day. If I don't see you before, Merry Christmas! Cyber hugs for you and, please a big old hug for Mr. Gizmo!😸🙏❤

My Grandma gave everyone a card with $5.00 every year. I used to put it in a special place until I found something at a good price, then told Grandma what she bought me. 😊

Hobby Lobby already has 60% off Christmas stuff. We got cards for next year for cheap...they are really pretty! We used to always do the day after Christmas sale but we enjoy the quiet of home better now! Mrs. Smith pies are on sale this week at our local grocery store...I'm going to get one for Christmas and one for New Years Day too! Merry Christmas Granny and Gizmo!

My mom passed 2 years ago Thanksgiving. She loved Christmas! I inherited some of her special poinsettia dishes and have so many lovely holiday decorations from her over the years. I've gotten my gift packages mailed to the grandkids and slowly working on cookies to gift. Don't get things done as fast at the age we are.😊
