I've been building my home network slowly as I remodel and run more ethernets. I setup my base station based on your video on building a cabinet and components needed. This would be a great addition!

These are such neat and unique mini computers, I've had my eye on these for awhile! I'd likely use it to replace my current test bench for now and as a file server + security camera monitoring software in the future. I'm also very curious how it'd perform with a FirePro attached

I just about a house. It's a huge upgrade to the apartment I was living at. I would definitely use it as my home network and NAS, then expand as I go.

Seems like a great way to get into homelabbing such as setting up a personal VPN. AS a student I’d love to get some hands on experience and learn how to set these up and how they can benefit individual users! Maybe even use it as a router that I can configure to my liking

I’d love to turn off my big rig and leave a tiny power sipping ZimaBoard on for things like plex, file server, opnsense router, VPN, etc. I wonder how well it runs Proxmox with hardware passthru! 🎉

First of all, I have to say that the Zimaboard looks like a neat Mini PC that would be great for any person who doesn't want to spend a whole bunch of money to just get something simple for themselves. That being said, I'd use the Zimaboard to replace my existing Plex Server that I use for myself and my friends. Currently, I have my Plex Server set up on my PC, but I'd incorporate the Zimaboard to take its place.
