Tony Khan, despite still being quite new to the pro wrestling scene, is right now on a whole ‘nother level compared to the McMahon family when it comes to promoting and producing some of the best quality matches in the world today. I mean, this man just purchased Ring Of Honor 4 weeks ago for crying out loud!

Lol, look, u guys got me at a shitty point on a horrible day, I didn't expect the 1st reply, and I came out guns blazin, that's my bad (Actually, speaking of getting into wrestling, I was gonna go into ECW House of Hardcore in 98, but I was fooling myself, already dealing with 2 slipped/1 herniated discs (L3,4,& 5 herniated) from a football then basketball injury....) ANYWAY.. Look, like I said, bad timing when yall got me when I was all fired up & angry on a really bad fuckin day... I saw this match notification & decided to watch it to try to escape & mellow out and I stated my opinion on Stunt. I'm no angry old crone like Cornette who hates everything since friggin Blackjack Lansa retired, but I DO think there should be SOME things in Pro Wreslting that have to be looked at again, to at least TRY to maintain the "aura" of realism, even though we all know it's kayfabe. I grew up with midget wrestling being a semi-regular feature, and you'd never see The Haiti Kid wrestle the big guys, unless it was a goof. The one time they did write him to mix it up with the big guys, he sadly got abused and his head shaved, it wasn't a nice thing to watch, again, even knowing it was scripted. Now obv Stunt isn't a little person, but he is close to it. It's fun to see him whip around the ring & outside area, and I've been to many GCW shows; the crowd just wants to be entertained/happy, and putting him over MJF achieves that. And that's fine once in a while... but when he was out there week in, week out, giving Frankensteiners to 250 LB guys, or body slamming them (like here), a part of me always groans and goes "come on, give us something we can buy if you're gonna let a 5'2", 110 lb guy work his offense," ... I dont know why, maybe cuz again, I grew up with these guys protecting Kayfabe like crazy. Shit, I remember being kinda shocked, kinda amused, mostly pissed, when I read in the NY Daily News that Iron Sheik & Duggan got arrested for blow when pulled over; shocked they were hanging together, amused cuz it was kinda funny picturing that scene before the cops came, and pissed cuz I thought they were going to jail & I wouldn't see them wrestle again! And all cuz I still was like "WHY ARE THESE 2 HANGING OUT???" 😄 And part of that kayfabe protection took place in the ring. I'm not saying the kid can't earn a living in the business, there's certainly a role for him, I just can't help but roll my eyes seeing how his matches are booked. I'd probably be a fan if he was a weasley little heel, who cheap shot-ed, foreign object-ed, & big man outside interference-d his way to victory instead, cuz I can believe a 6'3" 250 lb guy being KO'd for the 3 count after he got clocked over the head with a blackjack,chair, Sid Vicious punch to the jaw, etc... And I don't even know why I keep saying BELIEVE lol, I can't put into words exactly what I mean... I suppose there's still that kid in me that wants to suspend disbelief & think the same thing would happen in real life, outside the ring... I'm sure no one got this far, I know im rambling (I had 3 teal can Monsters to stay up late for the Boba Fett finale... lol, see, I'm not some meathead troll tough guy!?)... I'll keep saying "oh God, here comes Marko Stunt" til the day I die if he's gonna wrestle guys 2 and 3 times his size, it's just how I feel, its just my opinion.... what I CAN do is not go against my own personal unwritten rule of insulting people I don't know & will never know, via social media/comments sections, cuz, well wtf, I don't like when that happens to me (like the 1st reply did and set me off at a bad time on a worse friggin day), so keep it real & don't be a nozzle.... Hope all that shit helps sooth the burns I caused, to coin a phrase .... 💥 💥 💥
