Question of pure curiosity and little importance: I seem to remember people sniffing little pieces of suboxone pills (which contained I think 8mg of buprenorphine and 2mg of naloxone) and getting a slightly stronger effect than if they used the same bit sublingually. So when the Narcan nasal spray became available and proved that naloxone did not have to be injected in order to combat opioid intoxication, I became curious why the naloxone in the suboxone pills had not prevented insufflated suboxone from being effective? Is it because the amount of naloxone they were sniffing was too small to counter the effects of the buprenorphine? (I guess if they were getting 1mg of bupe, then it was accompanied by just 1/4mg of naloxone)

You can get high off subs but you really dont wont to have gear in your system or you are going to rattle you tits off. The pills in the UK dont tend to have the blocker ( naloxone ) in so im guessing thats why. sorry not much help!
