I was a waiter from 19-27 and tim is absolutely right. We would party the whole shift on weekend nights and busy nights. After that we would end up at one of our houses and stay up all night partying then go in for brunch service. Wild fucking times

It all depends on their ability to empathize with your plight when you are crushed by a rush. I could only take so many insults before I was ready to take someone out, and do my time, regetfully. Fortunately, I was able to get a better job and up my education and career.

My family and I have owned a catering company for over 40 years in the 80s and 90s people loved doing cocaine all the time. I would say for the most part most of the people are either alcoholics or potheads now with more dabbling in Coke but not addicted , I have fired many employees for being wild in the past. It is fairly difficult to find great people that aren’t mentally insane in this industry but once you do you want to hold on for dear life and never let them go.
