The original rainbow flag represented inclusivity, since it has all the colors of the visible light spectrum. So it represented everyone, regardless of identity. Now it just represents a bunch of different identities, including non-existent ones, because people need attention and have to make it about themselves. It is why our politics can be bonkers because of the same workhorse mentality. We gave it to the Japanese and they stopped having children and are jumping out of windows. And on average we still work more per year than they do. It is why we pretty much think the rest of the planet is lazy, but the truth is we are insane. The first Rothschild wouldn't even invest in the states calling us a nation of mad men. It's why we make great entertainment.
