It doesnt HAVE to be a female because what you could do is just trade yourself your own ditto to your alternative account so it can breed with the starter, create the egg, then hatch it and trade both the ditto AND newly hatched starter back to your main account. Saves you a lot of time tbh because this way you dont have to keep on restarting the game JUST to get a female starter. After all, the chance of getting a female starter is only 12.5% and getting a male is 87.5%

You have to bread a female charmader or any of it's evolved forms. Then you can trade the egg, just like in the video

Edward Williams You don't need any more than two accounts. Have your main and then one extra. Once you use your extra account to breed a Pokemon for your main account and you trade it just create a new game on your spare account. Unless they changed something that I don't know about.

Get female starter, work your way to Lagoona Lake (Trade yourself powerful Pokemon after first gym to make it easy) Breed eggs, then trade egg to main account.
