The way the most recent episodes gets my blood pumping is something that no other piece of media is able to elicit from me. Idk, to me the writing leaves a lot to be desired. It's an enjoyable series to be sure, but calling it the "best written series of all time" is extremely hyperbolic. Killing off Charmander before the MissingNo/Mewtwo plotline was finished was an extremely stupid mistake and makes the whole series feel incomplete and disjointed. With Charmander dead, he'll never be able to take responsibility for the mess he created when he trapped Hitmonchan in the other dimension. Now, Mewtwo will be waiting in Cerulean Cave forever for a Charmander who isn't coming. This doesn't make sense. Plus, in no scenario could I ever think that a Caterpie was capable of killing a Charmander, even one weakened by a Squirtle. Caterpies don't have hands. They can't pick up sharpened objects and stab another Pokemon with it. The worst a Caterpie can do, even to a defenseless Pokemon, is tackle or bite it until it faints, or spin string around it to slow it down. That's it. So, yeah, there was some pretty poor writing in this series.

I get at the end of the day, Squirtle's conflict with where his agreeable nature lead him, as well as how to become an effective leader is far more interesting then Charmander finally learning how to be a decent person. Predictions: 1. Most likely Squirtle(Wartaurtle) will find the Pokémon gods and have them reverse time so he can save Charmander. 2. Charmander returns as a ghost type Pokémon(which was referenced in Episode 8). 3. Mewtwo will appear, angered by the fact that the starters never came to him all those years ago and will play a vital part in the next episode. 4. Episode 12 will probably end with each starter in their final evolved forms and live happily ever after.

Since episode 10 was telling Squirtles story in the sinnoh region, and Shipp has confirmed that episode 11 will show mainly Bulbasaur, the end of the series is likely going to include Charmander in some way. And since episode 10 was in a different region, episode 11 and 12 may also show different regions! Looking forward to episode 11!

Originally, it was just a skit, and ep2 was a sequel skit. Ep3 is when I decided to continue it as a story. Around episode 5/6 is when I planned out the ending and all the plot leading up to it. So far, no major changes to what I set up in like 2015/16.

I just realized if charmander were to sort of “come back” he might be an illusion made by the gods when wartortle fights them. That illusion will probably guilt trip him like, saying stuff about why he didnt fight back. Also there still a question about missingno who was in the flash back being reppeled by mewtwo for a few seconds. Missingo will probably play a role in the last few episodes….unless they make a season two or something lol. ALSO the real charmander could also come back as a ghastly if u heard what haunter said about everyone who dies turns into a ghastly. So maybe? But fr when charmander died I was like 😳. Honestly thought he would live but his plot armor left him lol 💀. I am so excited to see the last two episodes!

This is a masterpiece. Squirtles arc from standing up to Charmander, completely submitting himself to Caterpie, trying to replace his friends and ultimately defying destiny itself and proving that you always have a choice and that the only one in charge of your actions is yourself. He let go of the past and now is going to seek bloody retribution against the gods.

The others being why does Squirtle look so old if at the end when he evolves he looks young again. Why was Mewtwo, one of the most powerful pokemon, so certain that Missingno would end the world if clearly 10 years later a bunch of caterpie did that way harder than it did. Especially since humans appear to be extinct now. Anyway, excited to see him meet Dialga and Arceus and whatnot and go back in time to save...well, a lot of people. Was honestly surprised by the sudden protag shift.
