Absolutely love this. In an age of teenage fitness influencers who try to shame people who can't spend hours every day in the gym, this is a breathe of fresh air for people who others depend on!

I've put walking lunges back into my once a week leg workout. Already doing Squats and Zerchers. It's added flexibility, power and balance.

I'm training 4 to 5 days a week now. But I'm starting a new job soon and I'll probably only have 3 days I can train. So, I'll have to change up my training. I think I'm gonna do upper, lower, upper. With one push heavy upper with some pulling movements and the other upper being pull heavy with some pressing. Hope that's enough to keep progressing. Solid video. Always enjoy the content.

It will be enough to keep progressing mate, there is no issue there

Hi Laird! I haven't been able to hit my old deadlift 1rm in a while even though I still train them constantly. I was wondering if I should be doing more squats cause they are a lot weaker than my dl and I'm also thinking about trying to increase my snatch grip dl in hope to see great carryover to my conventionnal! Have a good day man!

Hey man! Any tips for training with a heavy sandbag as my main piece of training equipment? I do use the gym twice a week but like to do one session with my sandbag at home. Should I just do X amount of lifts? Or lifts and walking carries? What's the best bang for my buck? Great videos Mr Ross!

Do you have access to a pull up bar at home ?

Yes I do @@LairdRoss

Can you possibly start stalling and regressing if you are not switching things up once in a while I mean same exercises but maybe instead of more weight and intensity do higher volume for a little while then come back?
@LairdRoss2 ай бұрын
No you won't go backwards. Switching it up in terms of sets and reps yes, but once every 8 weeks is enough

@@LairdRoss thanks because I’m running an upper lower but on my squat lower days now my rep strength is dropping off like crazy 2 weeks ago I could do 275 for 7 on squat now today I could only get 4 how do I fix this?

Use a squat plug they work wonders. I got up to a XXL and my squat, dl and bench so much improved.
