As another one said: This is prime Therion and one of their best songs.

The instrumentation in this song is great at having that balance between heaviness and but with the softer majestic choir, which is in my opinion, the best choir Therion has ever worked with. I've always found this song so ambiental, it pulls you in, and even with the metal instrumentation, I think it's quite relaxing. This song is from 2004 of their double albums Lemuria / Sirius B. They mention here the light of Sirius, and Sirius B refers to one the brightest star in the dog constellation. In the Harry Potter universe, many members of the Black family are named after stars (Orion, Bellatrix, her sister Andromeda Tonks Black) and that is the reason Sirius Black transforms into a dog.

This is my favorite Therion album, almost all the songs are great. more precisely, it was even a double album Lemuria / Sirius B. But then Therion went on to have rather average albums, and the last album is frankly sad 😏
