Glad you called out this being a mini-lifter, because with the 10-year anniversary of TFA next year, I think it's a great time to add an SLKR lifter - namely Snoke - that does something just like this. Reduce FO turn meter just a little bit fairly often to make them really buff, and then let SLKR ignore taunt. Doesn't have to be a lot, just enough to push him back into the modern meta.

The bonus drops have never included zetas with character shards so far, so don't get your hopes up if you don't have a 7 star Merrin.

I think this was the case last time as well. If you don"t have the char 7 stars all you get is the double drop but if you do have you'll get the zeta drop.

I'm alright with an exclusive datacron, I think a temporary boost to a new character is kind of a fun idea. And a majority of the player-base will likely never even compete against it. Now....if it was a permanent boost....yeah, probably should rethink something like that. Should be an exciting stream!

Just in case anyone else out there is like me and loves Luminara Unduli, her datacron conflicts with her omicron. If you use her on a standard team that takes advantage of her omicron (I use her with Starkiller), then it won’t be too much of an issue, as the Prot Up will only be applied if she dies, but her datacron still will not allow her to work with traditional GR teams or even Queen Amidala.

I mean even if I was going to take Padawan Kenobi to 7* in week one, which is a lot more manageable under the new marquee structure, I don't have the kyrotechs or other gear available to take him to relics any time soon. I doubt that he'll be on my list to work on for another year and I have a pretty big/complete account compared to most. The only thing that would change that calculus would be if he's suddenly needed for the next GL, but I can't think of any reason why he would be, or who that GL could be.

@@AhnaldT101 he used tenacity mods on thrawn which made a massive difference and it still is kinda rng dependent and you need shore trooper instead of magma trooper. I would recommend watching his video it's pretty interesting

My guild usually puts down a Field of Omicron Phasma Teams, so that Storm Trooper Omicron looks really good for that, while in GrAr the Special Forces Tie Pilot takes the win

Since I dont have SLKR, I'm gonna try to use the first order datacron on a SEE with sith trooper, as sith trooper hits a lot of crits if modded correctly, and SEE cant be targeted if the enemies have deceive, so sith trooper will essentially have damage immunity forever. (Not to mention maybe throwing dooku and/or palpatine in the mix for stuns)

my guilds first order wall in TW is usually our bait wall... but if we get a bunch of these datacrons, hehehe. SF tie pilot for SLKR team, and the stormtrooper one will be great on the Phasma omicron team. And in 3v3 i think itll be useful a lot too since we can get 3 different FO teams, and a Kylo solo. definitely gonna go hard on getting as many of these FO crons. Gonna be a weird season if i have to use SLKR in Squad Arena instead of Leia lmao

It looks like the new datacron season is all offensive stats, with the sole exception of crit avoidance. That's a big deal. Health steal, evasion, reflection, and armor made Grand Arena miserable to watch, and I can only assume even worse to play. By putting all the stats in offense, I could see this Datacron season being much better. Of course there's still a chance some teams are very scary, but they won't be like pulling teeth to counter like Lord Vader.

As someone who invests into datacrons I find the obi wan being exclusive better as it is one more I don't have to worry about getting instead of what I want I do not spend anything on new chacters so getting that would be useless for me. I would find Padme or even Luminara a lot better than getting someone I know I'm for sure not getting up to requirements anytime soon.

Generally, it does not matter where you spend the energy. They usually equalize it. So if you pick a cheaper energy battle, you gotta sim more vs a more expensive battle you have to sim less. If that makes sense.

So im 11min in and soemthing came to mind so deciding to type it. Not sure if you address this in the video. But, we are coming up on the final quadme conquest rotation. When do they usually announce the next conquest character? Since bane is have been in a rhythm w conquest characters. And for some reason they are stronger than legendaries and rival some GLs *cough* I have killed an r9 LV and an r9 slkr w my r5 bane *cough* so kinda excited for the next conquest characters releasing.

This is one way I am actually okay with them having a datacron. Because yes, the people who are spending as much money on this game to 7* a character day one deserve more than just a 7* character cinsidering its rediculous cost. However, this is as long as the character is actually usable WITHOUT the datacron... if they're only viable with datacrons that's where I would draw the line. PS. This is coming from someone who's never 7* a single character day one since 2016 and the closest day 1 unlock I had was Levi where I unlocked it month 2 because the reqs were fast farms.

Oh man. On one hand I hate upgrading relics just for datacrons. On the other hand it is only a small relic boost and it will help your ship too. So, I would say it is worth it if you have the Datacron.
