An Underrated Model:Cycles Feature!
Today we're looking at one of the most underrated Model:Cycles features, which is the ability to use velocity as a modulation source! Most users are aware of the Cycles' LFO, but I see very few people utilizing velocity! Just like with the LFO, you can use velocity to modulate just about any parameter you'd like. The Elektron sequencer makes this even more powerful with how easily adjustable velocity is per step. Don't forget that you can use both LFO and velocity modulations at the same time too! @@FreeBeat upon further investigation of this trick... if the track is melodic/diatonic, the velocity changes like it should but the note will be whatever the track button's(T1-T6) default pitch is set in the track setup menu(func+track). cool tho when applicable
