As I understand it, he end of life thing was a cock-up! According to Colin Percival "The security team put the wrong EoL timestamp into the freebsd-update bits. Ignore the warning."

Hi it looks great and I would love to use it. But, can you please show how you got that desktop on it. Historically I am able to get something like gnome installed but then I either can't get a mouse working or I can't get the desktop full-screen. If you can do another video showing how to accomplish all of those things in virtualbox I would totally use it.

I’ve been running FreeBSD for a while now on my main computer. 14 has been quite nice. I may make the switch from Xfce to KDE.

Does freebsd support wayland? Does possible to install plasma wayland session? How do we activate sddm's service after installing plasma. Or is this necessary like in Linux?

Wayland is supported on FreeBSD. There are instructions in the FreeBSD handbook for setting up Wayland and Plasma Wayland. Setting up sddm is rather simple. If you edit /etc/rc.conf and add the line sddm_enable="YES" after installing sddm you will have activated sddm. This is also in the handbook.

I've had success with Wayfire and Sway as compositors, KDE plasma couldn't find my graphics card but that might just be a problem on my specific setup.

I've seen the 'end of life' myself on the server. I use freebsd-update which updates the OS itself. I've not seen it since an update.

Is better to wait a little i think. Tried to update via freebsd-update and got that amd64 is not Tier1 ! :D. Edit: it is case sensitive. It works.
