@@Adventuresincreation I've designed some stuff in FreeCad. It is usually very elementary though. I find the program very hard to use and not very intuitive. I guess I really need some kind of formal training on it. Start with the basics and build on it with every lesson.

@@krisknowlton5935 I find it's a good tool for certain designs. It helps me to visualize the 3 dimensional model and with 3D printing I can very quickly be holding the part and make several iterations to the final product.

is the locking part of the model need to be exactly the same diameter as metal rod to feet properly? Thank you for your videos.

I found that helped to keep the part under tension when it's clipped on.
