Sorry but there is no defense in today's game. Players back then pride themselves on playing defense. Pippen Jordan kobe Gary Payton starks dumars. Those just perimeter defenders. If he got past them to the basket you had Hakeem mourning Robinson Ewing waiting. And then u had the hammers Barkley Malone Rodman Mason waiting to put and elbow in his chest and knock his ass to the floor. He playing in right era but that era no way. I watched almost every game Kobe ever played. He was misunderstood. Once you realize he loved and respected the game of basketball above all else, a lot of his demeanor begins to make sense. If you had a passion for the game and was willing to put in work to reach your full potential, you were his tribe. To Kobe, not playing hard was disrespectful to the game. Teammate or opponent, if you gave it your all he respected you as a competitor. If you were lazy he didn't have time for you. Laser focus. Either give your best or gtfo. No in between.

Curry said he cried because his father forced him to stop shooting from his chest as a kid and shoot overhead in the conventional style: as you can see He still does not fully shoot overhead - it's from his eyebrows. All that makes his shot faster with less movement of pulling it back behind the head of a convention Jordan/Kobe type shot.

my two favorite players, kobe didn't move the way he did in his prime he was so deadly and every possession is surely a score this time he was so chill and for me he has nothing to prove anymore, while curry is very energetic and very eager to win so precise on his shots and the mentality to go beyond is incredible. its really passing the baton gameplay GSW LA 🔥🔥❤️❤️

Watch the replay of when Steph drained the three in Kobe's face. After he drops the tray, Steph gives Kobe a little "eat that, bruh" look and that's when Kobe smiles and gives him congrats, but Steph doesn't really respond. I mean, above all else, Kobe loved to compete. And you kill tell that Kobe loved the fact that Steph is, in fact, a straight killer.

A bit ahead of yourself there. I doubt he’ll do any of that, but he will certainly still be pretty good. Little bit outlandish of you to say that he is the goat though, since he definitely is not. He’s a HoF for sure, but nowhere close to the GOAT. One of the most talented shooters but not a GOAT.
