Freediving in the Swiss river Maggia

Join me freediving in the crystal clear waters of the Maggia river, in Ticino, the italian part of Switzerland. We went to the swimming spot Ponte Brolla, just a short drive from Locarno. Swim a bit into the gorge to escape the crowds and enjoy a calm dive observing the beautiful underwater smooth stone landscape.
The water is quite cold (13° C in spring), so an open cell wetsuit is a must (unless you are Kiki Bosch!)
In this video I’m wearing a Mares Apnea Instinct 50, 5mm open cell wetsuit.
Warning: Make sure to check the weather conditions and currents before you dive and never dive alone.
