Thanks for a fun video, Holly. I notice that some of your clips have very low audio levels, and there's a pretty easy fix for that. Not sure what editing software you're using, but most apps have a feature called "normalize audio" or "normalize peak audio to x db". Something like that. You can use this feature to automagically even out the volume in your clips. Normalize to something like -1db on all your clips, and they'll all be at maximum volume without distorting at our end. They'll also be pretty even across all your videos, when they're played back. Fair winds...

Unless you look toward, and speak directly into, camera microphones from close range, the audio is sub par. Inbuilt microphones generally are of poor quality to begin with. If the camera is some distance away you need to clip on yourself a good quality microphone wired to the camera or connected via Bluetooth or wifi. The sound will then be crisp and not appear muted or muffled.

FYI for stings and bites make a paste from ammonia and baking soda to draw out the poison from the bite or sting... Works great... ... Peace ✌️🕊️ out n stay safe... Sail on... PS I always have trouble leaving my boat unattended during a storm as I am the unfailing automatic repair and disaster preventer... They say a Captain goes down with the ship n I am prepared for that even with scuba gear ...lol

You might want to consider an adjustable pitch prop, or changing the pitch of your existing prop, or a different prop to achieve more speed when you need it. Having the grunt of prop like the one you have now.. is great for towing or backing down on your anchor to set it.. or free it, so the adjustable option can make sense. You are good at scrounging used gear.. so....

Raise that anchor and sell it by using both boats main halyards to lift it into a dinghy then take it ashore and place it with someone who can sell it and pay you a percentage of the gross sales price.

Hmmm...I guess you have a store or two on-shore? Where'd the mooring floats come from ...you didn't just happen to have all the perfect stuff you needed did you ? It would be nice to see some footage of town, what it's like there, etc p.s. Speaking for myself, and I think many others, lettings ads run is no big inconvenience, I let them run while I go get another cup of coffee, letting the money roll in. 😎

Eventually when you leave, retrieve the anchor. Put it up for auction and someone will want it for nautical decor. That person will be very happy and you will be a lot happier with some decent cash in your pocket.

I think the water can get cloudy because the air pressure drops which means there is less weight above and, some things that were sinking to the bottom now float back up toward the surface. Someone can let me know if I misunderstand. I know it could just be a shift in current or tide too.

For some weird reason, dive boat captains around here have been all weird about bananas on their boats. Nice to see you covering a boat with them. :)
@WindHippieSailing3 жыл бұрын
Haha yes there is some sort of superstition, but bananas are so delicious!
@discord20002 жыл бұрын
Bananas release ethylene gas which acts as a plant hormone and can cause other nearby produce to ripen and/or spoil faster than normal. Some say this effect is the origin of this superstition.
