Welcome to season 4 of Behind Bars. Episode 2 takes us to Croatia, to a small town just outside of Zagreb, the capital and largest city. The prison in Lepoglava is a former monastery turned prison for the country’s worst offenders. 500 prisoners, 200 wardens. Enjoy.

@adnanarutyunov106510 ай бұрын
@@bernadettefarralesDo you think that prison director knowing that some famous TV show coming to film and broadcast the conditions of the prison he is in charge of would show the real situation? Most likely before that TV show was coming to film and interview the prisoners, those prisoners were told what they can say and what they can’t say. Also, most likely those prisoners were working their a$$ to get everything cleaned up and shiny. But once the TV show was gone, everything came back to normal again. If you really want to see the toughest prisons, look into Russian prisons for prisoners who were sentenced to life imprisonment such as “White Swan” “Black Eagle” and other similar prisons in Russia for people who were sentenced for life imprisonment. Just to mention a few things, there prisoners are not allowed to sit, lay down or anything like that. In other words, once they wake up in the morning, they must make their beds to a similar condition that you can expect in hotels (bedsheets, pillows and blankets must be kept clean and organized. After that, they have their breakfast (which is usually something similar to what you would feed your pigs if you had them), after that they are either allowed to be just standing or walking back and forth in a tiny space (smaller than the average master bathroom in apartments), and they are allowed one hour a day to get outside of their cells to go to a cage just to see some sky and sun.

This one seems more like a 4 star motel! They get fed well eating fish and meat (even I don’t get to eat this in these hard economic times), they get to work and earn money, that allowed to buy things, exercise for two hours and have rooms that look like a motel than a goal! Gee, I think they are better off then homeless people! Employers that work in prisons, I think it take a special kind of person to do this kinda work.
