love this film, its violent and unfortunately its the reality of things in those times, i have no doubt about this girl has a good voice, but to me the original is better, the soul and feelings they put into it, and quite rightly so, (due to the content of the subject) out way just having a good voice and singing it like this cover.....

I agree! See, the beautiful thing about music is that it reflects your own experiences and what you carry inside you. It's like a prism - it managed to show all the different colours, experiences you carry within. I would never try to imitate the original, I'd rather show my own emotions and experiences through what I sing and how I sing. I love the original too! So raw, so true...
