Happy 4th of July Y'all! To celebrate, I thought I'd make a music video with a compilation of videos showcasing the American Freedom Train. Hope you enjoy it!

I got to see 2101 at the B&O museum in the parking lot.

Amazingly all three AFT locomotives are preserved. SP #4449 is preserved in operating condition at Oregon. Reading #2101 is in its aft colors at B&O Railroad Museum. Texas and Pacific #610 is preserved at Palestine Texas.

Too bad only one of them is operational. And hasn’t even gone out in more than 2 or 3 years

@@Railhog2102 Yes I know 2100 is pulling the new American freedom train consist. But the biggest reason she was selected is because of the running cost. If the running cost doesn’t go down soon we’ll never see 4449 pull the freedom train again even be painted red white and blue nor will we ever see 2101 restored to run again. Even locomotive 610 is still out of action. I’m glad the freedom train is going to run again, what is set up it’s gonna keep happening because of the running cost. And there’s also the positive train control system to.
