praise God for this ministry and you, Dr. Anderson. First time I did the steps was twenty years ago during a very bad separation and divorce. It SAVED MY LIFE! I have repeated the steps at different times and use it daily to keep Satan at bay! Praise God. Planning on being trained by Freedom in Christ to take it to my church.. thank you again for your work, teachings, books and recent pod casts... thank you and may God bless you in all your needs.

I think Dr. Andersen needs to do a bit more study on prophecy and the foundation of churches.. I'd suggest he especially read a theological study like Dr.Gordon Fee's "Gods Empowering presence" He does appear to be taken up with the errors (probably because of his encounters in his ministry).. There is a way God has provided for the lover of the cross and the scriptures.There are differences in NT prophets and OT prophets and the way there words are weighed. I agree with him that there are many being called "apostles" who ought not to be.. to me an apostle is a pioneer missionary to an unreached area and they enter as the only Christian in the region and establish the first church(es). Rare but they still exist today. Paul referred to those who prophesied in Corinth as "prophets" 1Corinthians 14. The terms aren't as fixed ..more descriptions of functions. Many conservative Christians love the books of AW Tozer....well he actually claimed to be a prophet .."a minor prophet" was his words. If you permit one.. there must exist more today. Cessassionism in any form just doesn't match up exegetically... it should be rejected as a lie of the enemy as Steps to Freedom is a great tool in doing. I wouldn't elevate Irenaus as an interpreter. Just open the scripture itself .The tests are sobering. But on the prophets character as a test..it can be taken too far.. being in a place to hear what God's saying is a grace....but we work with God to get sanctified. Leonie Frisbie is a good case in point.. He was used of God in igniting Vineyard but later revealed as a practising (though struggling) homosexual.. likewise Paul Cain who travelled with John Wimber. I loved Freedom in Christ books.

You are a godly man, brother, and the ministry you have been entrusted with has been a blessing in my life. The church surely does have a misunderstanding about spiritual gifts, and differentiating between the true gift of prophet and the gift of prophecy. But as far as Orthodox Church and Roman Catholic, brother, I humbly must say that their interpretation is far from biblical and hinders people from believing the truth. I have witnessed the baptism of a 1 year old unto salvation and heard the theology of the priest in an Orthodox Church, as he applied the armor of God by olive oil unto the child, as he 'bestowed the holy spirit' unto the child. I spoke to a Roman Catholic priest, with the Bible, and heard him talk about praying to the apostles, and bowing before statues, I believe, many years ago, if my memory serves me correctly. So, though calling themselves Orthodox, their theology by what is taught, if careful investigation made, is not Orthodox overall, in fact, far from it. I humbly ask you to reevaluate your teaching on this, because it is not in keeping to the benefit of the saints. Thank you for your great faithfulness to the Lord of glory! G Grace and peace to you.
