This video series is pure gold, it is an amazing gift for the following reasons. 1. You can access the material with little drum experience. 2. The eclectic selection provides a diverse basic drum motor repertoire. 3. Jared, is a natural teacher.

And so he showed me this three techniques, and I my lord! It gives me a amazing feelings… now I’m in 1 to 5 trying to go 6 but ohh man!! I cannot even get number 2 lol! It’s been months already but I am very determined as long as they don’t erase it. Lol! “ GOD BLESS all drummers in the WORLD” ALLELLUIA!

I've been with drumeo for 8 months now, on there website. It's the most awesome online drumming school there is, Image what I've learned in 8 months, when guy commenting above is all jazzed for what he learned in 2 wks. In 8 months I've learned to read drum notation, I've learned count out time so the beats sound right. We've learned limb independence( so you can make you feel and hands operation independent of each other and list goes on and on. The instructor are off the hook. You get stuck on something there's always some one to help you. You can't find lessons for $30 a month or I think it $240 yr if you pay it up front that works out to $20 a month, with all the resources. One off the mentors lives right here iin my town of Reno NV and the chick can play drums holy smokes is she good!!!! Drumeo you can't beat it!!!! T-Rex student since 2022😅😅🎉

Finally got tired of having only one beat, the first one he shows on here. Have used it to play with a small of group of my music friends. I just had to start learning some new beats, because I got tired of doing the same beat for the last year and a half. Thank you for these videos, Jared. Last 4 years have really been really tough on me. Been through a lot of family, health and job loss , and it was hard to concentrate on drums(or anything for that matter). Thanks again.

Nice I love it, I've been considering getting an electric kit and this vid has me sold. I'm originally a guitar player and there's a hack that I use to avoid syncopation and I'll be doing it with these patterns, I'll be playing them as quarter notes in double time, so 120bpm and 200bpm, so in the 3rd example the bass lands on nothing but strong down beats, itll land on 1, 4, and 2, no ands, just the way I like it :) it would be 2 measures instead of one but it's an easy conversion

HI guys ... getting a double beat on the base drum foot pedal .... any advice on foot placement ... using my heel as opposed to my toe ....? not all the time noobie
@YanickDrums3 жыл бұрын
Hey Justin i suggest to try these and see what is the most comfortalbe for you. 1.Leave your heel down and make two hits with lifting up your toe. 2. Lift up your toe and push the pedal down and as you do this lift up your heel then you put your foot back down and that way you get a second hit. Its called the heal toe technique. There is also the slide technique that you can chekc out. In the end it all depends what works for you. Hope this helps.

Drumeo Is there a reason on why you're lifting the beater off the bass drum yourself instead of letting that happen naturally with your foot?
@DrumeoOfficial9 жыл бұрын
Crimson Sunrise I don't like to bury it. Some drummers don't mind, but I prefer the sound when I hit it and then take the beater right off.
@crimsun71869 жыл бұрын
Drumeo Wouldn't setting your foot at the resting position at the end of the stroke produce the same result?
@tlcspecialistsltd54649 жыл бұрын
Crimson Sunrise deaper sound. more suspended, sorry but just tried it
@crimsun71869 жыл бұрын
Tlc Specialists Ltd Nono. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm not asking why Jared is playing out of the bass drum. Pay attention to his foot. You'll notice that once the stroke is made and the beater is off the bass drum, he pulls it away using his foot an extra 3 mm back(best noticed if you pay attention to his heel). SInce the beater will come back anways, why the extra pulling back?
