Hình xăm được freehand trên bắp tay sau khi hoàn thành sẽ có đặc điểm chuyển động theo các khối cơ của bạn, tạo thành tổng thể sinh động và hình thành một tác phẩm đầy sống động, mang đậm dấu ấn của tác giả lẫn khách hàng, phù hợp với những gì họ mong muốn. Tuy nhiên không phải tác phẩm nào cũng thích hợp để freehand, đối với những tác phẩm yêu cầu thiết kế quá nhiều chi tiết đa dạng, thì việc thiết kế trước trên giấy vẫn được nghệ sĩ ưu tiên lựa chọn. Nghệ sĩ Trung Tadashi vốn đã thực hiện rất nhiều tác phẩm đa dạng các thể loại từ truớc đến nay tuy nhiên với sự đặc sắc thể hiện trong các tác phẩm sở trường của mình, khách hàng lựa chọn anh ở các chủ đề đó ngày càng nhiều hơn.
