Thank You for sharing this. I remember when it first started in 75. I was called The Scene hosted by the great Nat Morris. It became the New Dance show bout 85-86. Filmed at the brotherhood club on livernois.

That’s incorrect. The Scene aired from 1975-1987. Contempo aired from 1988 to 1990 using the WGPR Studio. RJ Watkins creates The New Dance Show and it aired from 1988-1996. He taped at the Brotherhood for 6 months in 1989

Got them. "Aux 88 - My Aux Mind" and "Young and Restless - Poison Ivy." Incredible episode. I must say if RJ is the one mixing the video, he is the best. Man is never off in synchronizing the dance moves to the music. And the DJ's on this show, the best. With all the mixing, sampling and pitch control sometimes the music sounds better on the show than it does on the album. Again, The New Dance Show, an incredible production, makes me say "Oh My Gosh!" Thanks for introducing me to so much good music and dance.
