That happens to be one of the most sensible videos relating to Time Zones. There are many people that seem to be stuck in a rut thinking your in their Time Zone. Like a Webinar starts at 20:00 PST or EDT, when you are in the United Kingdom it could well be 01:00 in the morning.

I like that! Right now, I’m running late for everything (except work 🤞🏻) and I always say it’s because we’re on ‘baby time’ and that clock spins differently

I deal with a lot of international people and I communicate using their timezone but then there is no room for mistakes. For example, I say to a Vermont person that I will send this on MM-DD-YYYY Eastern Time. But yes, I hate timezones too and the daylight savings make it even worse. Loved the tips about transparency, honesty, kindness and the tools to use to tackle this (Your Tools of Trade video was super helpful indeed!). "I like dumbster fire" even though this is actually awesome! This is a great podcast style unedited video and it shows how well of a communicator you are because you need no editing! I watched till the end and always glad to be among your actual heroes! Carrie, thank you so much for making this video despite you being so busy and so much going on in life!

I guess I am a hero. I stayed to the very end of this rambling mess. ;) Joking! I gotta say, as much as I admire your makeup and brushed hair and professionally polished videos, I do like the Carrie-no-makeup who flies by the seat of her pants and looks like she might have a hidden mustard stain on her t-shirt. No idea why. It may be akin to admiring Da Vinci if he ever took a break from painting the Mona Lisa to compose a version of dogs playing poker. It was a fun video. One take and done. Thanks for the upload. Because you were so fearless in this one, you are my actual hero. :)

Yes! Time zones are so tricky. I also do the 24 hour days and tell them “that’ll be done within __ days.” And if they follow up wondering when to expect an order, I say “You can anticipate that by the indicated time and day on the Fiverr countdown clock.”

Within ___ days usually works (I think) because then they can base it off days from their point in time. I don’t recommend point them toward the countdown clock because it’s positioned far less obviously on the buyer’s side. Instead, Fiverr has switched more to ‘it should be done at this date and time ___’ kind of layout, if I remember correctly.

If it’s necessary for the order, but I always recommend recording the audio and uploading it in Fiverr so that there’s a record.
