Holy crap, talk about bad pitches... gotta love when you read the same response, poorly worded. Have you ever thought about doing a KZbin video about badly scripted KZbin comments like you have about the random pitches that you get?

Awesome video! Trying to find work as a freelancer can be so disheartening, especially when you just start out. I'll pay you $5.00 for 1500 words academic quality is not far off. And so many of us fall into these pits of low quality clients and low pay, it is sickening. It's tough because it's that stigma and believe that keep so many people from actually trying to get into freelance writing. There are SO many people trying to get something for nothing, as you pointed out, but there are also a lot of businesses with great budgets looking for high quality work - and are willing to pay for them. It's just a matter of understanding how to find them. Thanks so much for the comment!

LinkedIn is one of the most underrated places out there to find writing work. We'll be doing another video about that sometime soon. But absolutely worth while to put related content out there, as it helps establish your expertise on the topic, and can show off your style and personality.

Hi Sean: I heard that it is difficult to get freelance work without some type of Business Insurance, is that true?

Not as far as I know, I've never heard that before or had any issues with it! I could see maybe some issues if you dont have a proper business setup with a business bank account, but even then I'd be surprised if thats an issue for most people hiring.
