When we owned the cottage up weardale every year we had friends come over and everytime they were told to leave cars at the village and one of us would come down and pick them up.. Trouble is people rarely get out and look but go for the hammer down method and yes a few cars were destroyed by not listening to basic advice.Normally it was a sump ripped off. After a wash out the only things that got up that track were off road bikes,4x4's and tractors.
