Since your driveshaft has "cv joints" the angle is less important and you can move the mounts deep up into the chassis for better clearance. I was thinking to convert my subaru to these type of joint rather than traditional u joints for the same reason

These adapters are a great idea. Do you still have to have the Freelander drive shaft lengthened on a regular B20 RD1 CRV if you use these adaptors? If the adapters were slightly wider you wouldn't have needed to lengthen yours would you?
@hondaresource2 жыл бұрын
I think so. The adapters are primarily made to work with AWD civics but, yes a thicker adapter may work just fine

I need help and you are just the guy for the job. I have a 1998 CRV FWD LX and I need to find the rubber weatherstrip or seal that goes around the inside of the door. I need front driver and front passenger. The dealerships tell me they are discontinued and they cannot get them. Parts stores cannot get them. "Out of stock" My mechanic friend tells me I wouldn't have much luck at wrecking yards from his experience. I think it would be almost impossible to make a universal one work so I'm stuck. Any advice from you or your viewers would be appreciated. Maybe you have some for sale? Thank you for your great videos. They have helped me get my CRV running well and saved me a lot of money.
