New Starfinder GM here! Something you said gave me an idea... "Abadarcorp is also known to hire random people to try to breach their vaults and penetrate their security systems". That sounds like a great side adventure between "main quests". Abadarcorp is looking for adventurers to test the security of a new branch or wing of vaults before anything valuable is stored there. They will pay adventurers to break into a vault, promising more if they actually do break in. The party will be monitored by Abadarcorp, as well. This could be a standing bounty for players to return to. If they don't break in (and they shouldn't on the first try), they can try again. If they do eventually break in, Abadarcorp will reinforce the security and make the quest available again. Great for those Lawful Good players who still want the thrill of a heist.

@@TheMapleTable Thanks! Now to figure out how to flesh out and expand on the Free Captains (I just watched your video on them). Who doesn't love space pirates? Oohhh, maybe have a campaign with the Free Captains opposing Abadarcorp?

Hey I appreciate the dedication to starfinder lore seems after the honey moon periods most people stopped talking about it even when it's continued to be supported.

Dude, I love this. If I can be vain for a moment, I hope that some of the late-stage anarcho-capitalist stuff was at least inspired by the Nomads sourcebook for the Infinity RPG. Either way, I LOVE this stuff. Any setting where people can make their own little private utopias are ripe for exploration of ideas. From the raw ugliness of Human supremecists, to the hyper-ideologues of the Church Of Capitalism, if I ever had an alley, this stuff would be RIGHT UP IT. :D Good stuff as always :)

Thanks so much! Im exploring what it takes to write some small adventures as I would really like to explore the extremes of capitalism and utopia :p

Random question. Do you film or stream any of your Starfinder campaigns that you run and we could watch? Even on like Patreon or other sites?

I do love the lore, but there's always a confusion when I'm reading any scifi or fantasy where somehow there are human supremacy/ humans in charge with prejudice. I mean, in older fantasy the card that was played was they out bred and were more adaptable. But it feels a little out of place in Starfinder where there are sooo many races with variety. At the point that they're at humans aren't even the best at out breeding their rivals or adapting. Not with out enhancement from an outside source like magic or cybernetics. So I'm always sitting here going "how are they still around?" At least in other scifi/fantasy the basis is like oh when humans colonized other systems or places they became something more then human or mixed so humans from the origin place where prejudice based on the fact that they retained their biosystems in an arcane form.

No matter how advanced the tech, there will always be someone who thinks they are better than anyone else. Doesn't mean they are right

@@TheMapleTable This is true, I just would expect the hate to come from something like natives to that location (so absalom station born and bred) or from a naturally long lived species that considers other species to be short sighted. I just find the idea of human supremacy being popular enough to allow them to take a sector of one of the largest hubs of civilization to be (in my opinion) weak narratively. Although granted I ingest most of my star finder from your channel and don't know for certain that there haven't been consequences for this group.
