I Hope that you got out the crash unhurt. That sounds really amazing. Also many Moroccoans are extremely kind and helpful like the farmer in the video essay. In general I really like the very kind culture. Sadly there are like everywhere in the world some not so nice people as well and it’s a bit of a bummer that my experience of the Sahara was not the greatest because of that.

Hammer Streifen! :D Alles Gute dir!

It's refreshing to see that it can be done rather cheap. He's not using any modern tech other than a newer GoPro (I may be wrong and maybe it's another brand) But he shows it can be done without spending thousands. I personally started doing this with a bicycle, after selling my car, and planning to travel across Europe on either an electric bike, or maybe an old 150cc dual sports. Gas isn't cheap in Europe, and staying in places can eat your budget in a flash. A Honda Transalp would require around $900 in gas going from Spain to Albania, for example. But I don't need such a big moto, but I digress. Cheers

Having also traveled alone, and having owned also a xj600 which i did 2up trips to the alps with this brings back good memories. I really like your honesty about the doubts you have when traveling alone but keep persevering in pushing your personal limits. The fact you did this on an xj600 is amazing. Ride safe and greetings from holland ;-)

Great trip! I clicked instantly seeing the title and enjoyed the whole video. I bought mine XJ600 also for an equivalent of exacly 500 euro and it was my first "big" bike. I sold it after a year but it got me into motorcycle touring. Looking forward for more of your vids, aufwiedersehen!

I also did this in 2008. I was very wary of bad people, And it did play on my mind, But luckily I didn't experience anything like you did. Your video was great and I have subscribed.
