Thanks, but this is more of an unboxing than a review. Certainly, it isn't a "Full Review." The bulk of the value for this kind of kit is in the projects instructions and explanations, and that is barely mentioned. Even if the hardware were the important bit, just pulling it out and naming it all doesn't give us a sense of its quality. We can read the component packing list on the store descriptions.

How would you use the battery pack that is in this kit?

Theoretically you figured it out if you got one… The 9v battery clip plugs into the breadboard power supply. The two AA battery clip has dupont headers and would plug into male header pins which are included in the kit. The use of the latter in a project kit like this would probably be for something that communicates wirelessly with the RPi, such as using the keypad to build an IR remote (may not have everything you'd need in this kit to accomplish that for 16 buttons)

I'm not sure how this was a review of the product. None of the components were tested, nor was the PDF viewed. Are the projects varied? Do they explain why the resistor is needed before the LED? Do they explain how to calculate the resistance needed? Did all the components work? Was the language translation good in the PDF? This was more of an unboxing video then a review.

I had the same thought. I wanted to know if the PDFs where worth it. The main reason I'd be buying the kit is for the instructions. Please make a "part 2" and go into the PDFs and try some of the gear.

@@jeremiahdeering9645 I actually bought this kit. Well, this kit and one of the Arduino ones. I really like them. The componets have held up well and the PDF is fairly well written for ESL. This LCD display is only for easy applications. For an 7'' touch display set you'll pay 70 to 140 Euros - it depends on the set and store. But you can enter the raspberry pi via remote control with xrdp, VNC or SSH. The tutorial from Freenove gives an easy description for it. I didn't used it before, but I'll try this at first.

i am confused a bit. which part is the raspberry pie? the white part? why does this look so different then all the other raspberry pie devices i have seen? were all those components on the bread board permanently installed?

no this is called a bread board. its a bunch of circuits to connect to the raspberry pi through the grey ribbon cable

There are two kinds of Raspberry Pi Kits: 1) A starter kit with the Raspberry Pi, a power supply, a case, and a few extras. This can be used as a computer with a memory card to boot, and a keyboard, mouse and monitor. 2) A project kit that does not come with a Pi but has a lot of electronics parts to use with a Pi for fun, learning and projects. This is the 2nd kind of kit.

You opened it from a wrapping.. Yet you stake the kit comes with a very comprehensive instruction PDF's and 30 detail Projects and all source code etc.. But I did Not see any CD or anything? nor did you mention one? Because when you finished , my thought was, where is the instructional manual on how to use all that stuff?? it's like you knew what it all was? so as a beginner? it doesn't sound very beginner / user friendly of a kit.

Got myself one of these for Christmas. I too am a beginner in all this. I can say the little business card looking item he holds up at the beginning has the addresses to download all the PDF and Source Code.
