I now realize that I did get a very good basic public school education. Grades 1-6 were in a small rural school where basics were front & center, then schools consolidated and bussed us into small county seat where there were very good teachers, discipline was swiftly handled and I had the basics and thirst for knowledge that made college a challenge I was up for. Now I’m wondering where I learned critical thinking skills (not in the 60s curriculum) that seem to be lacking in today’s adults. While I agree that it is sad to see what the US is becoming, 'arrogant stupidity' - mixed with corporate greed - has been the hallmark of the way they have operated since the 1960s. Every foreign policy decision since Vietnam has been a disaster with direct or indirect catastrophic results. Meanwhile, corporations have been increasingly able to bribe their way to the laws they want and that too has messed with everything from the nation's health to global moral degeneracy. Whatever happens in the US eventually exports to the majority of the rest of the world, thus as politics has become more ethically 'fluid' you see this happening amongst many other countries.

We are headed towards a one world economy, and one world currency. It is inevitable, it is part of human evolution. We can either sit back and try to fight against it like a bunch of luddites, or we can embrace it and advance as a race. We are still in the age of Imperialism, and that needs to change, or the wars that come with imperialism will continue. You shouldn't fear another country because they are advancing, you embrace them and advance as well. When we see ourselves as one race, one world, and embrace one another, good things will happen for us all. I am a Canadian. I never seen China as a threat because they were growing. I get worried when I see them loading up on their military, but as someone with a History degree, I understand their need to protect themselves. The treat of WW3 is a real thing, especially from the Western world that have started every war over the past 300yrs, because they have been imperialistic. I am proud of China for what they have accomplished over the past 50yrs. They dug themselves out of hole, and they are bringing the poorer nations out with them. It is China that will solve world hunger, not the U.S, or other Western nation. We can either work with them, or be left behind in our protectionist bubbles and hinder what is inevitable, one race, one world economy.

As an Australian travelling to the USA you see just how far behind the USA now is with bridges, airports etc..... The Chinese worked out how desperate the obscenely rich in the USA were to make another buck, so all the companies, Apple, Tesla, Chevrolet etc happily rushed to China to reduce cost, and gain more customers, in the process leaching out the US economy and the middle as well as lower classes. Saludos :)

Looking ahead, we as a people in the USA need to get our heads on straight and understand we are losing because of the division of people into two distinct categories, some of who care about their future and the future of the Country and those who think only of themselves in the present tense. Instead of always saying our political process is in shambles and there doesn't seem to be any hope of changing things, in most cases the elected officials are doing what their constituents are telling them what to do (with a very slanted vision of what is right and what is wrong). Until we reunite as a people and understand compromise is not a dirty word but, instead, a means to get things done, yes, we could be doomed! Scary thought, indeed. Politicians will be effective if they know they will not be tortured with political abuse if they vote 'the wrong way' on an issue. Being extreme on the right or the left gets nothing done! And those people will never understand the meaning of a happy coexistence. But, 'the norm' should begin to tell their elected officials TO DO WHAT IS BEST FOR THE COUNTRY AND FOR IT'S PEOPLE! Hating, which unfortunately is the standard in today's politics, has to end. EVERY ISSUE HAS A SOLUTION. Even if the desired result is not what we wanted, what are the reasons for that and can we understand the validity of those reasons? And, of course we (the people and the elected officials) will keep on eye on how the result is working out and if it needs to be refocused on we will bring it back onto the table. Working on both sides of the aisle? What? Stupid. A politician won't vote for something positive because they don't want 'the other party' to get credit? What? Stupid. If the so called left introduces something which seems like a good idea, the right can tell their constituents AND LET EVERYONE ELSE KNOW, they made it happen because of their support! Why? BECAUSE IT WAS A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it will benefit the American people. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! Time to lace up the boots tight and start getting work done. Right now, unfortunately with the new Administration coming in, things could turn out to be a horror show. But, even that can be prevented if PEOPLE AND POLITICIANS realize THEY CAN CHANGE THINGS if things are going sour. YES, THEY CAN! YES, WE CAN!

@@RobertDeMartin My first comment was Sarcasm. I do agree that Trump 2.0 will be a total horror show! But as far as both sides being able to come together "For the good of the Nation" isn't really a probability as the opposing sides both think the other side has absolutely nothing good to add to the outcome. I personally believe that most Right and Left persons actually agree on more than they disagree, yet it seems that both major parties have "The tails wagging the dog", or the minority extremes of either party seem to be controlling the direction of their politic. I grew up Republican, but became a Democrat in my late 30's when Newt Gingrich and his ilk took over the party. That said, I think the "Woke" extreme views of the far left wing are wacko, but at least not as dangerous as the far right wing is. What's the answer? I have no idea. Yes, we CAN, but will we? Not in the next 4 years that's for sure!

But all painting are done by farmers repeated doing the same everyday. Dafen village is now the biggest exporter of Van Gogh replicas in the world . Another case, a small town Zhengan in remote Guizhou started with one workshop now the biggest guitar producer of guitar in the world. These are facts. 2:57

Americas downfall began officially with Ron Reagan, and sending jobs overseas. Think about it. If you owned a business in the states, and you knew that you could make and save a lot of money going abroad, wouldn’t you. I think so. Though, I think they didn’t have to, but they cared more about the buck than maintaining the us economy. All of which was driven by greed, full stop. So the eighties began the collapse of the us economy, and the weakness of the dollar. A dollar which was held together with clear tape, for more than 40 years, up until now.

I totally agree, and China is not the only one. Malaysia, Singapore, and even some South American countries are doing it as well. I am moving to Malaysia in May 2025 as my wife is from Malaysia, and we are both tired of USA issues. Between racism and political turmoil, it is stressing, to say the least. Luckily for me, I have seen the sign of dedollarisation for a long time, I have been investing all my savings into BTC, since 2013 and I already have enough for not just myself but for generations to come. It's funny that my coworkers used to make fun of me and my monopoly money, and now they themselves are the ones talking about scam crypto projects 😂. I will be a billionaire once BTC hits half a billion. Probably next year or next cycle. I will never sell, I do believe BTC will be worth several millions each. To me, 16M BTC is = to all the wealth combined. 16M BTC represent everything we give economic value. So yes, I do think just 10K worth of BTC now would still be life changing money in 20 years from now.

Let's see, just Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands only, export what all of China exports in total ($3.4T) and with much more profitabilty. They total just 160 million people, while China is 1.4 Billion. So they achieve the Grand Total Exports of China with simply 11.4 % of China's population. China's housing market as everyone knows is in utter shambles, all while doing stimulus on top of stimulus, on top of stimulus, also. Internal demand is aweful, and China's Total Debt, which is still sharply rising, was over $40 Trillion in 2019! That was already more than 300% of GDP according to the IIF(Institute of Intl. Finance) and many others. These other countries, combined, have less than 20% of China's Debt. Which means China had about $30 Trillion More Debt already back in 2019. With more $Trillions$ further added to today. Their latest Giant stimulus to Save their Entire Economy was a Grand Total of $1.4 Trillion. So this gives an example of how much $30 and $40 Trillion of Debt is. But he 'just thinks' they did some economic miracle. He obviously means a 'miracle' in reverse. 😂🤣🤣

This was not achieved without a lot of pain and suffering. The U.S. had hoped that if we helped China become a "customer" for our businesses, they would also buy into our exporting democracy and human rights. That did not happen, and now it is the U.S. that is losing not only the economic competition, but also the moral high ground of democracy and human rights. These last two--democracy and human rights--are what the U.S. was prepared to exchange for economic opportunity in China. But we did not value those enough to sustain them here, and so we cannot export them elsewhere.

America is not collapsing, it's just circling back around to 19th Century dynamics of an oppressed labor force working for a minority of wealthy people. China is going in the same direction. It's just the natural state of capitalism that was briefly upset in the 20th Century by the labor movement. Capitalism will always tend towards exploitation of labor and resources because it demands infinite growth.
