I was pink I just seen this I listen to your videos while I sleep or when i play others games I typically watch the main channel however today when I had this on for noise I heard my username Jordanp11 that engaged me far more then my other game so I watched this *admittedly did skip a lot* I was taken back from the stream sniper comment from JJ Bruh and for you to then just take him for his word. I wish I had seen this upload when it first was up instead of now only for a possible response and also this would be fresher on your mind then now I can only imagine. I am curious for me to stream snipe would I not have broken you for more then I did or would i have not put my capital in a different spot to mess with you? at 54:00 is the comment about it well through out the video it is mention but this is the reasoning. The best player won the game gg wp!

GGs bro. I see that this game was about a year old. In that time the situation w sniping has evolved from 'am I getting sniped while live?' to 'which one(s) do you guys think is the sniper?' I'm inclined to believe JJ ust based on their word because they understand what I'm dealing with. Of course there's no way to prove it so who knows. I'm glad you weren't and I'm glad you're enjoying the show man.

For Horde as black you want to attack pawns on one side of the board. Sac pieces to do it if you have to just start drilling a hole, connect your rooks, then once you can get to the back rank move your queen in there and clean house.

They could leave camera animations on and add an option for an additional click to short circuit the animation. Thinking about it now, if they did do that then they could remove the ability to turn animations off because everyone would then have the same experience which would be pretty quick, only one additional rapid click to bypass the animation. Another one I’d like to see is manual rolling by setting the number of dice, let’s say to three, and then click, click, click, click, click to roll 15 dice rapidly. Then you can pause to look and stop or click, click, click, click, click, click to roll 18 more.

Awesome game man. Negotiating around terrible neighbours is always an entertaining watch. Never played chess but I totally get your point about unhelpful comments. I think that's why the risk community is so awesome... we all have our differing opinions on what could have been done differently but you'd hardly ever see anyone say "your game was over round 3". I also think if anyone did say that, as there's 5 other players (usually) it wouldn't feel like such a personal attack, although it's still very unhelpful and not constructive. You won't ever learn anything from that kind of comment. Almost feels like "I know better than you AND I'm not going to help you understand why". Having watched you for a while, I love how your content is always geared towards helping others improve--whether it's the game of risk or the conversation. Always have love for you man

As a player who learned how to turn camera animations off from pete, I can confirm that it definitely hinders new players. As soon as I learned about it, I turned them off, and instantly started winning and moving up in the ranks.

Touchscreen controls is mostly what the speed difference is,don’t bother playing online if on iPad or android.

We both know, we have specifics as all humankind that we specialize in. To the point where it would be foolish to ever judge a very specific aspect of knowledge like chess. I learned this after being being an ase mechanic for 20 years. I don't expect people to ever know the specifics of my field. And anyone judging a specific lacks the wisdom of being humbled on other subjects they have 0 clue about. We can not know everything, but we can come as close as humanly possible.

Hey Pete! Thanks for the episode. I’ve never played Risk, only watched your shows, but I had a question about your play. One thing I noticed is that you don’t seem to check which territories your cards are on to get the extra +2. Would it ever make sense to purposefully move your stack to one of these territories to get a few bonus troops early on, or is this not really worth it? I know you’re always min-maxing with the slider, so this seemed like another potential avenue to squeak out a few more troops.

With progressive on a big map like this it's just not worth my time mostly for two troops. I'm prioritizing things that matter a lot more to the outcome like mapping out my opponents positions. Trying to infer their objectives and pathing kills

as for playing chess on stream, there are more people who play chess on all the parts of the learning curve, no shame in getting better on stream. The thing is most people get more followers as they get better and stream more, so when you start with many followers it's even better. Ask vampire chicken for lessons he is in for that I'm sure, he is a great teacher
