Manual placement should be like fantasy drafts. You get 1.01 then 2.06 then 3.01 then so on. Also since you go 1st in placement you go last in actual turn order. Further they could make it all so that you random get an order to then pick your draft order which then sets your turn order. It would take out some of the luck as there would be further strategy. Finally you could even have "bidding" where you start the game with 25 troops and then bid how many troops you are willing (blind bid though) 1.01 and once that is auctioned off then next placement. Ties then randomly pick between those who bid.

@@jakemcculloch6450 no it wouldn't, it's blind bid so everyone has the same 15-30 seconds to bid, winner announced next 15-30 seconds. It would add very little time as if everyone locks in sooner it moves forward. Also this is specifically meant for tournaments where removing luck is a priority not random games or tournaments.

I like the bidding thing, makes the turn order something you have some kind of control over and would automatically remove any possible advantage/disadvantage in turn order

why didnt you cap sicily or italy??? did you not see it at first? because i feel like if you capped sicily you might have prevented the red cap in algeria and taken the africa pocket for yourself and perhaps taken the win.

Ok so looking at this "old" game from 3 months ago, totally weird by red he must have had to many options due to having North Africa and Spain ( And Portugal haha) locked up so early on in the game. Weird he did same to you that you did to him and locked you in Crimea. Maybe if you had realised he was just finishing clearing up and stayed out the way he may have just killed you last after killing the bot. The reason I think this is he just went past the (green) cap one time, obviously the brits ( purple/pink - we're all Vikings dude - and Russia is all Mongols - think about it) were playing revolting again, so he had to rush back and do damage control. He then realised how frigging dangerous you were and decided to just finish up winning the castle game - before you bested him in z frw goes. The bot is simply not programmed to focus on caps, or you know it would and start winning every time.
