There is actually a valuable bug that spawns at the centre, it's called the Rainbow stag, it's worth 10,000 bells. It's quite rare though.

Here's another helpful tip:if you caught some bugs,but didnt see anymore,just go back inside the shack,move around a little,and then go back outside and you'll might find some more bugs

Also:if you sneaking up against a bug,and every time your near it flies away,i learned a smart way too fix this problem,the bugs on tree actually move,and if there not moving then that means there alarmed,wait till they move and get closer,and stop if there not.

Actually, if you walk too fast catching these bugs, they will fly away because it's like waking normally. You have to tilt the control pad slightly.

Or, when you have your bug net out, hold the button to swing down, and you will walk slowly, which helps to catch those beetles.

loved the drawings. It's important to note that if you want to fill your museum and you got rid of all the other plants, you can replace them by doing the tour mini-games and bringing back any flowers and fruits that you might see. These can then be planted like normal in the island and the other bugs will start spawning again.

Another very useful tip is to dig holes directly in front of every tree upon arrival to the island. You must be exactly one space in front of the bug to catch it and this helps make sure the spacing is perfect!

I would have to disagree with you about chopping down the regular trees. They may spawn a lot of stupid bugs. But, they also spawn giant stags (worth 10,000 bells) and rainbow stags (also worth 10,000 bells.) I agree that the bushes are not necessary though. In fact, they can get in the way. But flowers can be a good thing to have as well. They can spawn birdwing butterflies (worth 4,000 bells) and agrias butterflies (worth 3,000 bells.) What I do is scare off the stupid bugs until a giant stag or rainbow stag appears. I usually catch a few of each in a night.

This was super helpful! Just a little tip, though: if you're too lazy to run in and out of the island hut waiting for beetles to spawn, just catch the regular bugs, and walk around the island slowly. The beetles spawn pretty fast, so just swap the regular bugs out for the beetles :)

Important note: If you ever chop down a tree you feel is important, simply go on a tour and snag some fruit from there. They're the only things you keep when returning from the island and you can use them to grow new trees.

Another way to get super rich really fast ist selling delicious fruits. When you start a new town there will be one tree that has delicious fruits on it (but will grow normal fruits after that) or a delicious fruit will randomly grow on one of your native fruit trees. Maby some of your friends have delicious fruits and give some to you but if you plant a delicious fruit in your town that isn't your town fruit then it will grow as a normal fruit. If you have some delicious fruit DON'T sell them. Keep growing more delicious trees until you have as many as possible. I would recommend having a golden axe if you want to do this method because delicious trees can only be harvested 4-6 times. Then their leafs will fall off and one of the fruits is rotten and you have to plant the tree again. (You can't sell rotten fruits, you habe to pay 100 bells for each at retail so it's cheaper tu burry them and then dig them out again bc then they'll disappear) Then if you have enough trees you can start selling them. But don't sell them in your own town bc you only get 600 for each of them. Sell them in a town of a friend who has a different town fruit bc there you'll get 3000 for each fruit. The beginning might seem hard but it's really worth it. If you have 9 delicious fruits in every pocket space and sell them in another town you'll get over 400,000 bells

This is what you do: Take that awesome little shovel you used earlier, and now dig holes everywhere there is grass. Once there is no open grass left, the only things left will be beetles, hermit crabs (late at night), and little sandbugs.

This is what I do to. I have millions of bells, so I don't do it every night. Gets kinda boring. I also place shells just at the right point on the beach, so I don't accidentally use the net too early. The rainbow stags are spooked easily, so creep up for a couple steps, stop and go a couple more steps. I usually make the rounds on one side, collect any sharks, then go to the other side. Then repeat. If no bugs spawn, then go into the shop, or go for a swim and come back. You should have a full basket of bugs and sharks in no time.

the beetles on the island i recomend going around 10-12am best time because for me if i go around 8pm it does take longer for the beetles to spawn and i have my island cleaned

The idea of demolishing the stuff in the middle is to reduce the chances of not so amazing bugs spawning, which prevents beetles on palm trees spawning. Only so many bugs can spawn in an area at once, which is why it is better to reduce the amount of bugs that can potentially show up, thus only leaving the ground dwelling bugs and palm tree bugs to spawn. It just saves time in the end, and time is money.
