This is what you need to know about weather as a private pilot! In this video, I explain the basic concept of weather and how it applies to pilots. In this video, I explain stability, fronts, Coriolis effect, and a bunch of other stuff you might see on your written exam! This is Private Pilot Ground lesson 39! As a PPL student, I've watched a ton of weather videos, but this one takes the cake! It's hands down the best video I've come across for the PPL level, and it's really helped me out. Gee, in less than 30 minutes you summarized my entire course in meteorology. Brilliant! I had a few gaps of knowledge, for example the occluded front vs stationary front, that weren't well covered before. It is simpler than I imagined, I was just missing a few fundamentals. It's too bad weather news has degenerated into people reading the weather report with no idea what it means.

This is a great video! I had a college course in weather and this video is literally the same stuff just condensed.
