السلام عليكم here I will try to give a list of some good deeds that we need to do انشاء الله 1) Draw up and commit to a simple Qur'an reading schedule 2) give a stranger a smile! 3) Call a family member who you've not spoken to in a while 4) Feed someone who is homeless/in need 5) Memorise a new surah or some Quranic verses 6) Prepare iftar for your family or help at house work 7) Visit someone who is ill/in hospital 8) Make up with someone you've fallen out with 9) Sign up to make a difference each month with Challenge(pray more, fast more...) 10) Spend some time with an elderly family member/friend 11) Feed the birds in your garden/ducks/other animals at the park 12) Tell your friends and family how much they mean to you 13) Invite a Muslim you don’t normally socialise with to your home 14) Pray Tahajjud and make du’a for someone going through hardship 15) try to learn tajweed or tafsir or if you aren't good at Arabic try to learn daily new words and improve your self it doesn't matter how much you spend daily in learning Arabic but the most important is to keep an amount of learning daily 16) Surprise a sister with a scarf or a brother with a book 17) Commit to giving up a bad habit & ask Allah the almighty(swt) for forgiveness. 18) Babysit a sibling/tiny family member and save a tired mum! 19) Send an uplifting message to someone in need 20) Connect to nature - plant a tree/flowers or water your garden 21) talk with your non Muslim friends about Islam and be kind to them 22) Have a wardrobe clear-out and donate items you don't use also remember to give sadaqa or participate in a fund raising may الله (swt) grant us jannah and forgive our sins.

Thank you so much, as a german reading into islamic matters, this actually was a problem for me. I do believe the Quran but with the Hadith i was like "What do you mean all this has been written down about 150 years after? Based on what other people said?" Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of knowledge in there and i am certain a lot of things are correct, but when it comes down to it, to serious matters, i'd not trust any hadith a 100%. I feel like from what i read often, that Muslims often blindly follow Hadith without questioning it or the circumstances. It is stated in the Quran to ponder over its verses if i am not mistaken, yet Hadith are neither in the Quran, nor do i think people think about where they came from or what their meaning in that timeframe could be. I also think a person reading the Quran with a soft heart is going to come to other conclusions than someone reading, that has a hard heart, maybe that is a test in itself. May God/Allah have mercy on us and help us be among the righteous!

@Shakib The two most recited that i hear are Al-Bukhari and Muslim who both lived about 150 Years after the Prophet (pbh), those were the ones i meant. And i thank you for your answer :)

@@DontKnow-hr5my brother as we have textbook of mathematics that include the works of Euclid on geometry does not mean that the theorems and proofs are written after so many year of Euclid just a analogy to understand that the Bukhari and Muslim is a organised collection of health and the science of health exist before them

@@DontKnow-hr5my There is a difference between written by and compiled. Bukhari and Muslims compiled Hadiths that they were sure, after authentication that they were sahih.
