P1K3L i ate dinner sat on the sofa and chilled just amazed at the talent and skill level to create a top quality sword or anything out of steel . Wonder if he looks at the end product and is like meh another one 😆. Must feel like when I finally passed my class A exam at the dmv . I drove home that night and felt a huge accomplishment!!!! When I lived in Long Island New York I worked a summer in a welding shop it was only my boss and me but this guy could do anything his 1950 step side truck had cancer on the chassis he cut it off and made his own out of square tubing!!! He fucking eyeballed that shit !!! He would make utility trailers dump bodies dump trucks work trucks he did it all including the paint !! he was a bad ass drove a vintage BSA and a vintage Triumph motorcycle before all these hipsters...

I think the term for where stones are set is quillions. Runes is a norse language. Runestones are magical stones to do with runes. You could be confused with rhinestones. Gems were placed into the quillions and hilts of swords for safe keeping and were taken out to be sold for money when needed. It was a safe way to carry ones wealth with them in ages gone.a

I really love how the sword came out. Simple yet elegant but if I was to use it for cutting practice or in battle I would've preferred oval grips instead of round grips since they help with edge alignment.

Personally I like the _Man At Arms_ version of the steel sword more (aside from the uneven twists in the crossguard), but they have more people, better equipment and a higher budget so it's not really a fair comparison. Freerk's version of the steel sword is no less impressive in my opinion.

Very nice, the only thing I would change is to run some kind of tactile strip inside the grip to communicate the feeling of how the edge is aligned since the grip is very round.
