You should be proud, it’s a shining example of just how much talent you guys collectively bring to the table. With as much work as you put in to each step, you should consider releasing these in deep dive parts, each like 10 mins long then release a super cut of them all with the demolition. I easily would watch a 10 min vid just covering the broach as well as one that goes over assembly and detail work done handle, guard, etc. One long video like this is really easy to skip through and miss things on, and I feel like it was hard to navigate to parts I was interested in, so a format like that would also might help maximize the viewer experience too! Either way, much love!

InstrucTube don’t get me wrong, around the 5:20 mark when he starts working the steel? Captivating doesn’t even begin to describe it. And his ability to hand bevel, it’s unreal. My point was more that the video spent a solid 5 minutes showing the prepping of the steel (which is fine if you like that much detail on the process, everyone has their own kinks), I just would have loved the same detail to have been shown to the other equally as intricate parts as well.

Great video. The production and camera work is probably the best I’ve seen since you started the channel. Amazing smithing as always.

anyone else feel like you could fall asleep to the sound of Ilya engraving a sword? Just so relaxing listening to a master at work.

The blade on the series one was too small, that’s why it looked weird.

This sword should be in the next season of the show. If only the producer had half a brain to avoid blunders like the Niflgaardian armor...

Ilya is the definition of awesome! Not only is he smart, he does the most amazing work there and handles the sword like a highly trained warrior.

Splendid job as usual you guys. Matt and Ilya have always been the dynamic duo. I can't wait for the next one.

Could you please do more traditional Armor-smithing tutorials? It's so hard to find a reliable source of information on forging battle ready armor.

Engraving a piece of hardened steel is a pain in the butt. Ilya would've ruined a ton of tools.
