Thank you! I really do care about them, and give my all. I think teaching them compassion and care is just as, if not more, important than riding. I hope that helps them in the long run. ❤️

I would have loved doing different exercises on horseback. My lessons were walk, trot and canter in a circle.when I was young. What a great program.
@susaneskra-fv2vu Жыл бұрын
I also would have loved 😍 my lessons like this. I rode for years walking and trotting in a circle single file. The horses 🐎 just followed each other. We maybe got to canter one or two times an hour by ourselves until we reached the back of the line.

You and Charming are both precious. Today is my first day to see your Vlog. I was especially interested in seeing the auction process, and now I’m hooked on seeing how Charming progresses. I think the two of you are a good match. I really like the shape of Charming’s head. Nice! Well this has been an unexpected journey today; from looking at the available horses at the auction, then the auction and all that it entailed to seeing Charming at home enjoying his new life. I’m so thankful that he has you. He is a delightful and Charming gelding. So happy for both of you. Give him a good scratch and many kisses for me. 😊👋🏻🧑🦳

I love watching the different kids! Gosh I remember pestering my parents to buy me a horse from about 5 years old, well into my teens. We went to Chincoteague, VA all the time and I really thought my Dad was going to buy one of the auction ponies. Nope, we were city (DC) people, and he knew my Mom would not have been happy. 😥

Not related to video but wondering your thoughts: Are western saddles or endurance saddles easier or nicer on a horses back than english because of the difference in the tree? Thanks and love you!

It all depends on the horse. I wouldn’t say one is better or worse. You can get custom trees with both styles of saddles.

Don't be afraid to wear your bright lip red lipstick you do you and let everybody else do themselves you're beautiful inside and out and I'm 60 years old and 40 years ago I was a working student and my happy place was the barn. I will never forget it I wish I had as good a teacher As You Are. I'm blind now and I'm looking for an instructor that's willing to take on the challenge. I ran into an old friend who was an awesome Rider one of the best I've ever seen and he's seventy-one years old now but he says I can come to the barn anytime I want so as long as I can find somebody to drive me, I'm going, wish me luck

Do seniors ride horses? I ask, because my orthopedist took a bunch of x-rays recently; and he told me my joints are more like 20 year old joints not like the joints of a 70 year old, which I am. I assume this means that there are some things I could do with horses. And since more and more seniors are practicing yoga, climbing mountains, etc., it seems like an untapped market for equestrian programs like yours. It would not only potentially profitable, I would think working with horses would provide the mental stimulation seniors need.
