All the people here complaining have no idea how technical, clean and controlled this particular routine is. This is a real testament to the dog’s talent and the handler’s skill and commitment. The judging criteria isn’t just “entertainment”. There’s so much more to scoring and awarding points. Yes, there were other routines that may have been more “entertaining” but they were littered with many inaccuracies, the tricks were too simple/ repetitive, routine messy or not coherent etc.

This routine was sloppy and didn't relate to the story of the music. At the very begining of this event, part 1 listen to the announcer and what he says about judging.

Is the whole competition of freestyle heel work to music going to be posted? It’s not on the livestream. I didn’t get to see it.

For some reason on iPhones and iPads it’s only showing 4 hours of the livestream but on tvs it’s showing the whole 11 hours.

I think they have issues with music licensing. Last year they posted some of the stuff involving music later but with royalty free music.

@@julicane2975 Weird, bc I watched on an iPad and it was showing the full 11 hours. Heelwork to Music should be within the first four hours though

Great performance! More entertaining than Gene Kelley's rendition. I think it took more hard work and practice for her an the dog, but boy does that dog love it. He is truly faithful to his master to watch her every move. May the Lord bless us to be as faithful to Him watching and following Him as this dog is with her master. Had a dog like that once. God used her to teach me a few things but the riches of His Word is a plentiful treasure that never ends. Praise be the Lord Jesus Christ!

Poorly conceived routine. So out sync with the chosen music. Which was one of the judging points. Can't believe she won. The talent of the black and white border collie in part one was absolutely superior! (I think it was contestant number 4)

Do you train dogs? I actually saw a couple things I hadn't seen before. Didn't notice anything out of synch with music. 1:20-1:30 is technically insane, thats a long distance for a dog to back up and go straigh into new commands. 2:29-2:50 is the longest stretch of heel work any dog did in the competition without interruption. That's very difficult to train.
