Off the dome freestylers always think two lines at a time. Trying to think more lines will get you mistakes so he should be able to pick it up anytime anyways. I guess you could always debate that these topics are partially prepared because while the topics are given in the beginning ideas are flying in already. Chris might actively think of things to mention in those moments while the audience gives him topics but I think he mainly focusses on staying present because that’s the best way to go about it. The more you are thinking in the future, the more likely you are to mispronounce words, fail your delivery, say the wrong words, forget your topics, etc

from what it seems like he stalls out the before the rap part as long as possible to think of links. The fact he can divide his attention to entertaining an audience and thinking of possible transitions is already quite amazing. It seems for the rap the main focus is trying to link the crazy requests while staying in flow (which he seems to rely on rhyming to do.) Keep in mind he does all that while thinking of how to transition requests... what a crazy lad

from what it looks like he stalls out before as long as possible to think of the core idea, the fact that he can divide his attention between the audience on his side and his transitions are all quite ready, quite amazing it seems, his hand is steady focus on the rap, the crazy-ass memes, while stayin' in the flow which he seems to rely upon the rhyming to do keep in mind he does this while deciding how to move between thoughts what a crazy guy who's smooth I don't know why I can't do this but I try ... Etc.
