IRONMAN 70.3 WORLDS 2021 - ST GEORGE

It was a world championship to remember. St. George, Utah's grueling course did not disappoint, and to top off the already challenging day, we were hit with a mid-race summer monsoon during the age-group races. The day was a true adventure, and so is this race recap video. We both had surprising performances, and are very ready for a few weeks of rest post-race. Next half-Ironman? Date TBD

Hey Jenna - what salt tablets were you taking to help with your muscle cramps? I suffer fairly badly from cramps and it seemed that what you took helped you during your race.

I took SaltStick electrolyte tablets-they have 215mg sodium per tablet and were 💯. You have to wash the ones I took down with water, but the brand also makes chewables if you're into that.

Jenna - 2 words: Pickle Juice. Half a jar before the bike, the other half before the run. You might have some weird tasting burps, but cramps-be-gone. There's a WICKED amount of sodium in that stuff.
