The Roots can play anything, all genre's, w/ any artist. I think there may be some "pre-production" on these segments though. Funny AF though :)

all the pre planning they do is probably having the genres/styles that Jimmy gives them, as well as the same questions. So it'd be a little like mad libs for Tariq, with a little freestyle on the side. on the music side, Quest probably says a key and they all fall into line. Good musicians can do that pretty easy.

Well, obviously the folks attending in the audience that night hadn't fought and died for our country, but your point is taken. And I agree, while professional athletes have a very good platform from which they can champion important social and political issues, they shouldn't earn more per year than a doctor. Staff Sgt. Ryan and the rest deserve fair pay equal to their work, commitment, and training.
