Freestyling a Brushed Whoop!

Today we take a look at a brushed whoop built and borrowed from‪@BrandonBeans‬ . This saucy little bugger is 65mm, packed with an Alien Whoop Zero flight controller, 12 amp ESCs, NewBeeDrone 6x17 motors, HQ tri-blades, and running ELRS 3!
Massive thank you to Brandon Beans for sending this over so I could check it out! This is for sure a brushed whoop I don't mind flying.

I must be old school because I love rippin my brushed whoops silly whenever I got the time 8520s bi blade on 75mm and NBD unicorns with venoms on 65mm and the way I see it brushed whoops are like the muscle cars from the 60s and 70s yeah they ain't nearly as good as the modern day vehicles but they are still super bad and right now you can get unicorns for dirt cheap in the clearance section I got a bucket of them because It looks like they phasing them out soon

Unicorns! Plaid seemed to give up really quickly compared to how these are holding up so far. You can still get the Unicorns for the time being but IDK if NBD will continue sourcing them forever. While it's not my daily ripper, it is a nice refreshing throwback that doesn't disappoint 😉

He is becoming THE guy yo ask to tune your quads. He charges $1 a minute, which is VERY reasonable for his level of expertise, and I hear that no matter what you know already you will learn something while tuning with him. I plan on breaking a couple more quads and then giving him a call.

He built these for someone else. I think they commissioned him to assemble a fleet of them and he hung on to one for himself, that I got to fly as well. He is an amazing tuner and really friendly person to work with. Very knowledgeable.
