What I like the most about freza is that he is so evil and his because Toriama based him on real estate speculators who he considered to be the worst people.

Frieza is easily my favorite Dragon Ball character. Everything about him as a villain is just perfect. I especially love how he is the backbone of the whole series and his buildup on Namek was one hell of a ride. Resurrection "F" was one of the greatest theater experiences of my life because of Frieza alone and I loved that they had him return for the ToP. I love this psychotic space lizard way too much.

Aight, so Frieza in the manga wasn't originally as racist as the dub makes him out to be. The only reason he hated Saiyans was because he feared that they can overpower him. It had nothing to do with discrimination for discrimination's sake. But... everyone fucked that up. Zamasu... literally destroys everyone for being a mortal.

In fairness, the show does a pretty good job of staying (somewhat) true to the manga depiction of Freeza. It’s only as time goes on and we see his interactions with Goku that he seems to become more and more prejudiced towards Saiyan’s. And then, during the tournament of power it’s developed into full blown racism and he’s proud of it too lol. But then again, Super has a tendency to really push the boundaries of certain character traits (e.g. Goku is dumb but he’s not THAT dumb).

The fact that he becomes more and more prejudiced is exactly my point. But at first, he was surprisngly fond of Goku going toe to toe with him. It wasn't until Frieza used 50% of his power that Goku wasn't any more fun, but an affront to Frieza. Especailly when Frieza offered Goku to be under his wing. And as Goku kept displaying more power, and Frieza just took him as an affront, Frieza's nightmare was slowly manifesting. His prejudice towards Goku is the same with all Saiyans for the reason of them being powerful enough to conspire and overpower Frieza. And THAT was in full sight the moment Goku turned Super Saiyan. As for the part about the DBS Anime with Goku's character, at least the MANGA doesn't do that. Just keep in mind, it's Goku. He does in fact do some DUMBASS shit. @@mocha13

I'm glad that you said that Frieza is PART of the reason why Vegeta is who is he because Vegeta was always evil thanks to his father. And DBS Broly made DAMN SURE that such misconception of Frieza making Vegeta who he is is not the case. All Frieza did was leverage Vegeta's character to be more of who he was up until he met Goku and others.

Originally I had the script written as “Freeza is the reason Vegeta is who he is” but went back and changed it to “part of the reason”. Vegeta is so much more layered than most people think, so I’m glad you agree with me!

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but GT actually has some very good villains (in terms of depth) that are just executed very poorly. But I actually enjoyed GT (don’t kill me pls). At the end of the day Jiren will always be the most interesting and well developed antagonist with a fascinating and tear jerking backstory.

I love the video, but you gotta use official clip. It’s okay to use DBZA clips from time to time, but not as your main source. Z Kai clips would be the best to draw from, or manga quotes.

Yeah you’re right. The main issue is finding the episodes where certain scenes occur. I’ve watched DBZA so much I know them all like the back of my hand so it makes my life really easy. I made sure to add clips from the original too but it’s tricky. In future video I plan to add a lot more scenes that feature the kakuchi or faulconer scores.

No indeed my friend. No indeed. And let me tell you, apart from Vegeta turning SSJ for the first time and destroying Android 19, I hated everything else about him in that arc. Multiple characters fucking up (Krillin, Vegeta, Goku, and Gohan), annnnnd... Bulma? I AM IN FACT gonna say Bulma because she removed 16's self-destruct bomb. When 16 challenged Semi-Perfect Cell, 16 was nothing to Cell. Then 16 grabbed Cell in his Perfect Form POST-ZENKAI (particuarly after fighting Goku). It happened to be a technique so powerful that a post-zenkai Perfect Cell was dreading over. And... it was to no avail because of Bulma. So yeah... Bulma fucked up. Especially since they did not bring back 16 anyway, the man would've died invain if it were not for his final words to Gohan. And for my final reason after a bunch of characters fucking up is... Cell. Don't get me wrong, great villain! But was he built up like Frieza? No! In fact he was introduced so late into the arc because Toriyama had plenty of trouble finding a way to make a good villain with a good design. Furthermore, while Cell can compare with Frieza for being "evil"... I don't care. Cell, much like Buu, was created to wreak havoc. And that's it. That's why he's evil. Frieza... even though he was born into the universe, and was never good thanks to his father molding him to be evil, he CHOSE to be evil. It's his choice. He can be good if he wants to as the series makes it out to be like that time and time again, but the problem is he's just to stubborn. That's why his wickedness is ALWAYS a pleasure to watch. And while Cell's is also a pleasure to watch, Frieza's is more earned thanks to his CHOICE of doing so. So yeah... That's why Frieza rocks more than Cell IMO. @@peacocca190

The argument for Bulma removing the bomb is if 16 happened to use it against Goku. I get why it would have been a good idea to remove it, but she certainly isn’t at fault in my opinion. Vegeta, Krillin, and Trunks hold most of the blame for me. (Why didn’t Trunks just kill Semi-Perfect Cell or at the very least, kill 18?)

It's arguable, until you realize that Bulma reprogrammed 16 to act of his own free will instead of being programmed to kill Goku. And clearly, the bomb in 16 had no influence because after Bulma fixed him up, he thought he always had it up until he realized that he didn't when he grabbed Cell. @@mocha13
